Nice place! They literally have everything! I was shocked they had camel meat. I don't eat it, but I had to take a picture to show. They have lamb, rabbit, everything. The fruit and veggie fresh. But holy cow they have to many different kinds of cheese I can't believe it!!

Saw a review of the Egyptian 'cafe' and the food served on Instagram, so I made the 26 mile drive to try it. My sister & I almost missed it! Located inconspicuously right at the market exit, next to the baklava/bakery section (fantastic, btw). We tried three different dishes and LOVED all of them! So tasty and the waiter was very helpful, guiding us through the foods. Definitely a 10/10!

Honestly I don't know why this store has such low ratings. Originally from AZ was visiting LA. Looked up halal grocery store and here I was. I can't express enough how great this store is. In Arizona we can only dream about store like that. From produce, meat department, deli, bakery, home goods, perfumes and colognes and so much more. Wow!!!!! The store was a bit hard to navigate because it was my first time here, plus there were so much!!!!!! I walked out with a full cart of things are not even available in AZ and even if they are available the prices are way higher. Customer service was very professional and sweet. If you love olives go to this store!!!!! So many choices and priced so well. Overall store is very clean but because it is crowded with inventory and customers it seems a bit hectic. Please consider opening a store like that in AZ!!!!!!

This is such a special store. Like the exotic middle eastern cousin of JONS Fresh marketplace. Love their in-house baked flat bread, still warm to the touch, airy, and extremely fragrant. Veggies and fruits are very well priced and there are barrels of seeds, nuts, beans, and grains selling by the pounds as well as containers of spices. There are also vendor booths for baked sweets and customized perfumes. I've tried the mango cake and flan, both are delicious, just as good as the cakes at 85 Degrees and Paris Baguette. Near the cash registers, there's a glass case of the Hemani brand essential oils for only $2.50 an ounce of every kind you can imagine. I'm a repeat buyer of their Rosehip oil. Always looking forward to stopping by when I'm in the area.

This grocery is well stocked with a diverse array of food. It's located at the corner of Brookhurst and Katella, at the same region of the Popeyes Chicken. Starting from the parking lot you will encounter an older gentleman selling trinkets, I've never looked closely but I think he has beeds and incense. I've seen him walk away from his ware to help customers. Decent fellow. The front of the store has huge bins of things. One may have sponges, another has Turkish coffee glasses, others will have watermelon or gourds. The entrance has a bakery making breads I'm not familiar with and pita. Packages are still warm. The produce section is ginormous. You will not see many bagged, prepackaged foods, like cuties. Instead, there will be several other (in this case) tangerine varieties with the leaves and stems still intact. They have lots of unusual melons, greens and herbs. Tropical fruits like coconuts and papayas. Huge fermented dairy area. When's the last time you saw a real butcher. They have about 7 guys working at all times to provide Halal beef, chicken, fish and marinated meats. You can purchase a goats head, camel meat, and other hard to find products. The spice section and all the teas are heavenly. Not too long ago, I had looked for chutney at the other stores i frequently habit. None of them had chutney. Here, I found at least a dozen kinds. Can you imagine that? They have gobs of bins of beans, spices, nuts, dried fruits, and seeds. They have a deli where you can taste the feta before purchasing, or the olives. You can buy bulk hummus or baba ganoush. You know how you can get a rotisserie chicken with the juices at the bottom? They have long grain white rice soaking up the juices. I bought a half chicken and rice that lasted four meals. Delicious. There is so much I could tell you. But, I will close with a piece of advice. Go during the workweek during bankers hours or upon opening on the weekends to avoid crazy crowds. Many of the customers are families, making your visit a bit longer than is desirable. You aren't going to find many processed foods. You will find Carson on rolls and pan dulce. This grocery is pure pleasure to visit.
